Welcome!
Welcome to the OTIMO Parents Space.
If you are reading this, you have probably just played Happy Writers with your child.
Here you will find a few ideas to help the game continue a little longer — through conversation, imagination, and creativity.
Questions to ask
your kid
after the game
Choose one or two questions and talk with your child.
Which card did you find the most interesting? Why?
Was there a card that surprised you?
Which part of the story did you like the most?
Was there a moment that was very funny or unexpected?
If the story continued tomorrow, what would happen next?
If you could create a new card for the game, what would it be?
Which character from the story did you like the most?

Small Imagination Exercises
1. Draw the Story
Choose a card from the game.
Let the child draw a character or a scene from the story.
After that, you can ask:
What is this character’s name?
What does this character like to do?
2. A New Ending
Ask your child to imagine a different ending to the story.
What would happen if everything turned out in a different way?
3. A Story with Three Cards
Draw three random cards and create a short story using only those cards.
Small Imagination Exercises
4. A New Character
Let the child invent a new character for the story.
What is their name?
What is their special ability?
5. A Story Together
The parent starts the story with one sentence.
The child continues with another sentence.
Then the parent adds the next one.
In this way, you create a story together.
